Let me just start by saying that InstantStorm has to be the most feature-rich, easy-to-use screensaver maker that I have ever tried, and when I heard how easy it was to customize every aspect of a screensaver and manage custom settings, I knew I just had to give this program a go.

I've been playing around a bit with the fscommands (as documented here: http://www.instantstorm.com/help/2.0/in … stranka=13 ) to see how InstantStorm handles them, and I've run into a few things that have managed to stump me. I've managed to figure out how to store and retrieve custom settings (it took me some time to figure out that they were stored in the LoaderInfo parameters, hehe...), but I can't quite seem to figure out how to retrieve the screensaver's own internal settings, such as mousequit, keybquit, multimonitor and the like.

The test code I'm using is just on the first frame in a .fla file (though my final version will be in a custom option manager class I'm building):

would there be anyway to adjust the ANSI code to relocate the temporary file location for the swf file, at present its locating the windows root with GetWindowsDirectory and windows temp folder ok but on a locked down system where permissions and groups effect this we are running into temporary folder ownership issues as this location is restricted, how easy would it be for the scr produced to relocated to a c:\temp folder upon deployment of the screensaver for the swf file?

We've created a screensaver from a swf file using InstantStorm and have run in to a sightly odd problem.  We've got multiple users on the same PC and, because of security settings, they don't share personal folders.  So when the screensaver is installed it extracts the swf file to: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\

A good translator should:
•  be familiar with InstantStorm interface
•  have enough English skills to understand all texts in InstantStorm, even some Flash-related ones
•  know common program interface terms in their language
•  have just elementary programming skills, nothing too complicated

PS: During the "InstantStorm 1.5" era we received a lot of emails and other messages from users offering to translate the program (some people event sent us the translated resource files but we weren't able to contact them about making a few changes, since the final 2.0 release has a few more lines of text than the release candidate versions). It is zoomed right in. It animates but you only see the center of the movie

This is also the same when I make an installer and install it. In Windows settings it shows the same preview

Whats happening?

I have tried different SWFs and its the same, unless I test it with a very small SWF then it seems OK

I'm getting error-messages like this

when exiting the Screensaver via an exit-button in flash. The exit-button uses the command

I run into a little Problem. I published my first Screensaver witz IS 2.0.0.0 and activated multiple screen.
But it´s not working. All i get is Screensaver running on first screen and second screen is black.
I have extended desktop, no stretch and doesn´t use any special tools for my monitors.

You guys have any idea?

Can you provide such feature.

The resulting screensaver is just a blank white screen in both preview and actual screensaver mode.

I saw a post on a similar problem way back in this forum, and have followed the advice given: uninstalling and reinstalling flash player.  No change.

I've also tried making the screensaver with the Adobe Flash Player ActiveX distributable, that I got by following the link given in the setup dialog.  Still no change.

Incidentally, my .swf and .mp4 are in the same directory, also the .bmp for the installation pic.  The .mp4 is 10Mb in size, but the resulting setup.exe for my screensaver is only 3,397KB - is that normal?  Once this works, should I ship the .exe, the .swf and the .mp4 all together as the installation files?

I'm possibly doing something daft...
